Events

Each year, the FoDP hold a variety of events within Devonport Park - often ith a specific theme. Below are the usual events we hold and rough dates / months. For spefici dates for the current year, head to the 2026 Events page. 

Summer Event

This is our BIG one every year - usually helf in July / August time and is an all-day, fre entry community fun day. There are always lots of vendors, stalls, games and rides, free music (live and otherwise), usually a dog show and food / drinks available. 

Halloween Event

We usually have a halloween event of some kind (weather permitting) held close to, but not always on, Halloween. This is usually a ticketed event as we offer competitions and prizes.

Remembrance Day Services

Every year the FoDP hold a Remembrance Day service at The War Memorial - close to the Exmouth Road entrance.

Carol Service

Every year, close to Christmas, the FoDP hold a very popular Carol Service around the bandstand. The Devonport Park Community Choir, supported by members of The Salvation Army band, invite you to come along with your singing voice intact and join us in celebration Christmas in song. Food & refreshments available from the Park Pavikion Cafe. Lyrics provided - please bring a torch and dress warmly.
